New Year New B’day Part 2
I know… I have been lazy updating my blog… Anyways… Its never too late!
Last year we went to Bangkok for my birthday celebrations, this year it was Seoul…
Partners in crime included Alvin, Benny, Mubi, Rasul, Yuan and my mum!
While it was a whirlwind trip for the former 4 chaps, it was nearly 2 weeks for Yuan, mum and myself. The two of them were going for a ‘pick-me-up’ procedure while I played ‘maid’ to mum… 🙂
We walked everywhere (a lot!), shopped, ate, drank (love Soju!) and even partied one Saturday night on “Homo Hill”…

Re-spectacle Guys
We were trying on pair after pair of designer sunglasses in Myeongdong, Seoul, and decided to do a “Asia’s Next Top Model‘ moment.
There were only 3 photos, and the one whose name was not called was eliminated from the competition, leave 3 top finalists…

Cabochon Gem
We discovered this gem of a boutique hotel off Sukhumvit 45, Bangkok called Cabochon that is a total delight in terms of decor and ambience. Service was excellent when we were there and I hope it stays like this in the years to come..

Pool Boys
So we decided to spend the mornings lounging by the pool with fresh cut fruits and most importantly, some simple Veuve Clicquot for libation.
We were drinking from morning till past lunch time… took a siesta and off we went for a bite and more beers by the sea…
We stayed at the Villa De Suma, and the staff really spoilt us. They were on standby to cater to our every whim and fancy – local dish this, local dish that, and if they couldn’t make it in the kitchen, they went out to buy them for us… welcome pampered life, even if its for a few days…
